Yeah, I wasn't that ecstatic after watching the pilot, but after the third episode I'm loving it.

It took at least two or three episodes for me to really see its charm. The actor who plays the Artistic Director (the replacement, not the dead one) is muy hot, imo.

I rented the first disc, watched the pilot and totally forgot about it.

I will have to revisit it. If coconut like it, I will too.

This is one of those shows that gets richer and richer with each episode. Also, it has an incredibly sophisticated perspective on life in contemporary theatre, fwiw.

It's charming, funny, smart, quirky, inventive, and savvy. And Canadian. :) For me, it's easily one of my top five quality tv series of all time.

LOVED S&A. Brilliant show. Loved how each season had a very clear arc, thematically tied to the main play being put on by the New Burbage Festival.

I think S2 (Macbeth) was my favourite.

Rachel McAdams was adorable in S1.

Quickly become one of my favo shows ever, Slings & Arrows follows the onstage and backstage drama at the fictional New Burbage Shakespeare Festival. Originally airing in Canada then on Sundance channel in the US, the DVD sets are widely available. I've only seen three episodes of the first season so far, but its great. The writing is brilliant, acting is great, the humor is both laugh out loud and subtle. As someone who works in theatre, I must say that it gets the business down...
