My sons were playing Wii tennis while I was folding clothes in my room. I hear oldest son scream out "In your face Ho!"

And even though he says he doesn't give a shit about taking away stuff, they do. Go through his things especially the video games and take them away. When he is left with nothing to do, he will shape up. I have an almost 14 year old and you wouldn't believe how good he is once the video games are gone.

I remember an episode of Malcolm in the Middle, where the kids really were totally out of control, they came back home to find a room with nothing but their beds, and the closet with like 5 shirts and 5 slacks for the school week, and nothing else..
