You do remember that challenge, right ?

Twila was WAY behind. Julie couldn't even beat FatChris. Eliza only won because Ami slipped a few times in the last round and Eliza was close enough to catch her. Julie and Chris were not even close to Eliza and Ami.

Flipping can have its uses (like when Eliza flipped to vote out an obvious loose cannon like Dolly*), but usually it's plain stupid. It's one thing to flip early to protect yourself (Dolly or Yau-man boots) when alliances are fluid.
Or not to pick a rock at 33% odds at F6, when a F4 alliance puts you within striking distance of the finals.

But flipping at 5-5 on tribal lines when the other side is solid? That's suicide. That's an S3 Brandon move.

Yeah, I dunno. If they talked to him about it first, before Russell got to him, I think he would've understood. I mean, in his position I can say I'd probably take the risk to draw rocks. Yeah okay, he didn't like them trying to direct some votes to him instead of Laura, but their reasoning and intentions were beneficial to him. Like, I'm pretty sure they were taking the risk at drawing rocks to get a 5 person majority. Yeah, there was only a 43% chance of them getting that...
