I've never heard of either of them, kat.

I have heard of biscuits as "big as your head".

We had bad storms last night, the tornado siren went off a few times. I was hoping the house would get blown away...but it didn't happen.

What are you supposed to do when scarey assed hail comes down and you are driving on the interstate? I've only been in one hail storm that I can think of. It was really small stuff, smaller than a marble, but it scared me and I started crying. Fortunately I was already pulled over at a rest stop, but what do you do when that horrible shit attacks and you are moving?

Yeah, I did...they were parked under 494 in Woodbury as well

The stupid thing it while it may save your precious Lexus, it's the worst place to be during a tornado.

My sister is in Richfield and she said it hit hard there too.

This is the 2nd time in a week we narrowly missed these storms. There was golf-ball sized hail both north and west of me, and we've been under a tornado warning for the last hour. The sky was the freakiest color green and there was definitely a wall cloud, and yet it just sprinkled here.

Golf-ball sized hail for me.

During last Sunday's storm we were driving back home thru Buffalo, and had to pull over because of the hail. When we got back on the road we decided to put on the radio to see what the deal was, and they said "we've got Steve on the line in Buffalo. Steve?" and right as Steve started talking we passed a guy pulled over on the shoulder talking on his cellphone. That was Steve! Good times.

Sirens are going off and there is a storm with tornado warning and the neighbors are running around outside screaming at each other at the top of their lungs. Morans.

C'mon, Suffolk is nice. Driver is really super nice, or was. The guy who took over my territory was at home in VA Beach so he wasn't around for the car tossing and house smashing.

JeFa, most big gals can be had pretty cheap. You could get a set and still have enough money left over to go to the movies. The upkeep can get expensive.

This is totally hurricane alley, not tornado alley! It was really weird seeing that funnel cloud yesterday afternoon. It touched down a couple of miles from my work building, but everything here is fine. Just a tree down from the winds, but no one injured here in my immediate area that I've heard of.

I am SO thankful that I don't live in Suffolk (for more reasons than I can count).
