Agreed. They should have set this up a while ago.

They did it on Australian Idol and Canadian Idol and it worked out well, lots of good performances. Fans were given a few choices for each of the Top 5 to decided what the eventual Top 3 would sing for one of their performances. I think for CI the contestants got to pick 3 songs and the fans got to choose which...

Actually, I think we're all pretty much in agreement on the main point. Whatever he may have accomplished in the past, Clive Davis now is over the hill, out of touch, nasty to singers who have offended him, and ought to retire.
