You have a point, Erickman, although I think James is getting the He-Man edit, not necessarily a hero edit. All brawn, not using his brains. He is making exactly the same mistake as he did in China relying on his alliance to get him through with no game plan of his own. He learned nothing from last time. Don't get me wrong, I still love the guy and especially his comments in confessionals. I still crack up at the way he felt sorry for the fans once he'd moved to Airai beach.

Sun, I understand your point, though I am not sure I entirely agree, mainly because I don't see any of the guys getting the hero edit. Ozzy's arrogance is coming out bigtime, Jason just seems like a bumbler, though I give him HUGE props for winning last week. I thought his comment about beating Ozzy surely meant he wouldn't. Erik is nobody's hero, he's a puppy dog.

Sun, I think MB tampering with the game to help alpha males is finally biting him in the ass. The dominant Fave women, Cirie and Parvati, went through seasons where Terry\Ozzy won almost every challenge, where the HI wreaked their chances, and women were slaughtered at Final TC.

Thety know they need to get the strong guys out. There is no time for stupid girl games like Amanda being jealous of Alexis or worrying that Parv has too many alliances. Cirie was stalking Ozzy and Eric in...

I think MB's BIAS, the people he ROOTS FOR, is so much part of the game, we have to take THAT as the primary consideration as to who WINS.

Last I checked she had a MASSIVE confessional count compared to everyone else left. Like, double the next highest person.

She either wins or is our 4th place finisher again. But would this season have had that much "good" buzz surrounding it if Alexis/Amanda/Parvati were the F3?

I'm with you, Croc, although I'm not completely convinced yet that she will actually win. It could be all about how she masterminds herself out of a million. I don't think Erik will win either. Erik is only safe as long as Ozzy is there to protect him and it increasingly looks as if the women's alliance really does happen this time around. (moment of silence for Ami).

I find it much easier to believe CBS is editing together clips that make it appear Perv is a "mastermind". I would be willing to wager both Cirie and Amanda have confessionals regarding a women's alliance, and Perv has a confessional or 2 questioning Cirie's and Amanda's loyalties.

Since the S6-S8 run of female 20-something winners of Survivor, MB has done his best to see that that never happens again. He wants HIS idea of a Survivor WINNER to win, no matter how the game WOULD have played out.
