There are mountains, deserts, plenty of islands. It really depends on how far away from a big city production wants to go. In China there are thousands of remote sites...

Any place in India that isnt overflowing with people is probably overflowing with rats and terrible smelling fabrics.

There's a shitload of beach/woods/marsh in Goa without the heavy population (especially if they decide to go in winter).

Erika Shay's twitter mentioned her searching for "escape routes from Indian cults". Could they be doing research about the safety of India as a location for filming? I still think India is LONG over due.

Wherever they're headed next must at least have some diverse locations (mountains/hills/beach/jungle/flatlands) because I wouldn't imagine them pulling off a back-to-back location without at least trying to cover it up for viewers.

Example:
Brazil rainforest first season
Brazil highlands second season

It offers enough change to confuse the viewers into thinking they've completely moved but it saves production a hell of a lot of money (like...

They should go to Asia again. Japan, Indonesia, India, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Vietnam
I though of some other locations the other day:
Patagonia, Solomon Islands, Mexico, Peru, Greece(or somewhere in the Mediterranean), Papua New Guinea, New Zealand, Hawaii, Morocco, Madagascar, Turkey, Tonga, Tuvalu

I'm waiting for Survivor to head to Egypt. If they're gonna keep doing the back-to-back filming thing, one season could be in a desert and the other could be along the Nile River.

i am totally gunning for another australian season, there are sooo many places they could do it. A desert-themed one in the actual outback, if they want to stay tropical somewhere up on the north qld coast, rugged mtns in the blue mountains...or otherwise new zealand in the summer would be awesome. I really don't care where, just not another tropical island. and I don't really like the idea of it being in America, just my 2 cents.

I do think one of the only landscapes they haven't touched, but that does have a rich aesthetic and could be completely possible, is some kind of taiga or boreal forest. The only problem is many of the most epic landscapes of those types are in North America. Survivor: Wyoming just doesn't have that great of a feel, you know?

Alaska, on the other hand, is a possibility. And of course many people have wanted a Canadian Wilderness season for awhile.

I think they should go to loyalty islands since, like it or not, they're not big fans of living the island locations so why not have an ironic type of location for it?
