A lot of the stuff said ends up being generic, overdone, and recycled. Someone must always say "I never thought it would be so tough" or "I can face any challenge in life and overcome it now." It's pretty good once, but gets old fast.

It depends on if the majority of the castaways have anything interesting to say. I haven't heard a decent "final words" in a while.

Oh and at the Final Rites of Passage I liked it better when there was only music playing while showing the scenes of the voted out castaways, instead of them talking and stuff

1. Introduction and bios of all the castaways.
2. An assortment of "real and interesting people" from every age and every walk of life... "ordinary Joe's".
3. The complete introductory theme song for every show... "immediately after" the recap of the previous show.
4. Show everyone in the theme song introduction including those voted out.

The cast introductions. But they haven't done those since Thailand (and I think they did it in All-Stars, too). I think in Pearl Islands and Gabon each castaway had a chance to introduce themselves (which is better than nothing), but I really would have wanted to see Betsy in her cop uniform or Mike in his chef's hat or Mick in the hospital. It would have been great.
