My son is on the staff and arrived Libreville 5/18 and is now busy setting up for the filming. Has been staying in Nyonie' resort but expects to move to Base Camp this week, per phone call early this AM. A/C for cabins has arrived after some delay. Internet now up, although very slow. Last week, on a 1 1/2 hour drive...

Wow... I hope they find that lost cargo container! And, I hope they packed some barb wire, dog zappers, stun guns, cayenne and whatever else it takes to keep the critters out of the camps.

If anything, the production problems they're having make me ever more excited about the season. It definitely won't be a season where you get the sneaking suspicion a five star resort is just outside of the camera shot

Thank you, kdeec...I also found on Dan Bolinger's Site, " Survivor Maps, & Clay Critters." That, he has a nice map and some info on Gabon, Africa...

I still think that the Picture's that, Brazil Luvs Ami posted, are just BEAUTIFUL!!! I would give anything to be able to go to any of those places and see some of nature's most beautiful creations...

I'm not really sure if this is true. This might be similar to the report years ago about the 6th season shooting in the Philippines, but that turned out to be Japan. The biggest red herring though is the part about it being a celebrity edition though.
