1) David Cook - What got me about this one is that he can sing and make a killer arrangement -- proves that AI is more than just a hit all the right notes at the right times competition.

2) David Hernandez - Strongest vocals even though song choice was odd

3) David Archuleta - I really want to dislike him with all of the hype the judges are giving him, but I actually liked this arrangement better than the judges did. I just don't see why the teenyboppers like his looks...

GUT: Luke Menard, David Hernandez = designated "talented singer thrown under the bus" candidate for the AI producers this week

Once we hit Top 12, I suspect they'll start to turn against Jason Castro if he starts to pose a threat to Archuleta.
The kid's over so much you'd think they wouldn't have to resort to sabotage but it looks like they won't be taking any chances.

1. Jason. Wow what an amazing job. Made me lookup the song on YouTube this morning to listen to it again. Did a great job with a very difficult song.
2. David C. Glad to hear something different. Not the best vocals of the competition though.
3. Michael. Good song choice, maybe not the best performace ever but still solid
4. David A. Not as good as last week
5. David H. I thought he was going to get raped for picking that song, but somehow he pulled it off. I think...

The top five, not necessarily in best to worst, just random...

1. Hernandez
2. Archuleta, didn't really care for the song but he sang well.
3. Castro, something about it I liked.
4. Chikeze did okay. He has a wonderful voice but doesn't know what song to sing/nor how to sing them.
5. The Australian guy. No matter what he sings, he's believable. I could even join his fan club. He's just a great performer.

I really don't remember those...
