well ..i was not familar with ms roth before, but after the above comments about her nostrils and mole, I don't think I could ever watch her without laughing now!~!! We will probably see her agian....if it really was her and not a figment made of smoke..or something

Just random (somewhat) musings after watching the episode and reading through this thread.

I think that the boat is Whitmore's. Penny would have said that it wasn't her boat because she doesn't know what her father is up to. She didn't know that Desmond was sent as a "guinea pig"... so to speak... by her father. Perhaps Whitmore bought the rights to the island from Dharma and Whitmore sent people to the island to learn more about it and get rid of Ben...

I didn't recognize Andrea Roth and "Rescue Me" is one of my favorite shows. I knew I knew who it was but I couldn't place her.

I think Juliet will eventually die. A few things lately have only solidified my belief (like how she didn't have a flashforward). The main reason though is that she's perfect for Jack and Jack is just not allowed to be happy for some reason. I used to think she'd turn turncoat and screw Jack over that way, which is...

They're pretty lax when it comes to swearing after 9. Even for young adult oriented stuff. Degrassi's infamous "You were fucking Tessa Campanelli" comes to mind :) Problem is most of the stuff comes from the US so there's nothing racy to show. You cna thank the Puritans for that.

Maybe, but no Canadian network shows let the nudity fly. The only time they have uncensored shows is when they get the rights to air an HBO show like the Sopranos.

I think the explanation of how Daniel and Charlotte knew about the tempest was simple and implied. The map probably came from the guy was tortured on the tape. Ben knew about it and knew they would go to the tempest to shut it down so he left a message with Harper to give to Juliet should they make their move.

I almost didn't recognize Andrea Roth. She's always been blonde in everything else that I've seen her in.

Yeah, this felt like a filler episode but it was just to build up the Jack/Juliet romance. Which means the writers might be planning on killing her off soon, knowing their MO.
