goat and bull testicles might be the strangest thing.

have had oxtail, tripe, kangaroo, emu, ostrich, bison, jellyfish, goose intestines, chicken/pig/goat/bull etc's kidneys/innards/intestines/stomach/brains/feet. and all possible wierd azn sushi stuff, sea urchin etc.

damn my diet is full of shit.

With barbacoa they barbeque the whole cows head and every part is edible. I'm partial to the tongue, but I've never been able to understand how anyone can eat the eyeballs and brains. They may be delicious but I'll never know.

I attended a redneck cookout one time in South Georgia. They grilled some kind of critter that they told me was all kinds of different animals. I never did get a straight answer about what it really was. They didn't think I would try it, but I did. It was "different" but ok. I guess it's more fun to tease a girl who isn't willing to be a good sport cause they eased up after I ate some of the critter.

The only time I've had tripe was in pho. I discovered that it wasn't a good choice for a pho virgin.

I am of mexican descent. We make all kinds of stuff and I tried different foods as a child. Some I won't touch - like tripas, which are similar to chitlins. Others, like the menudo, posole and barbacoa smelled so delicious I just HAD to try them.
