Would it be too much of a spoiler for me to ask how the eighth episode will be non-traditional? Do we know if they're talking about set-up (as in Flashback or flash forward) or something related to the plot?

One thing I do remember TPTB saying way back during S1, GIAA, is that viewers expecting a traditional conclusion to the story would be very disappointed. I think they were saying that there wouldn't be a garden-variety "happy" ending. So, I think projections of how things will play out should take that into consideration.

Yeah, that comment kind of ticked me off.

Claire has been one of my favorites since Day 1...but apparently, Damon Lindelof doesn't want her to be my favorite. And because of that, she won't be focused on much this season...and heck, she'll probably die knowing my luck.

I'm confused -- how exactly does that have anything to do with Sun/Jin/Claire? Are you supposing that 2 out of 3 of them are in the O6 and thus one of them dies (hence you should have said Sun, Jin, OR Claire), or am I just confused?

Sorry, I'm just being a little bitchy/sarcastic. Characters that the writers don't want to focus on just get killed off on this show.

I didn't get that she talked them into it, just that they kind of got the idea from her. Just my take on it.

I'm not sure what I think about the "focusing on just Kate, Jack, Sayid, Sawyer, Locke and Hurley" thing. We'll see.

And as far as the answers in eppy 7, I say the same thing I've said every time answers were promised: I'll believe it when I see it.

I think he is just saying that since they are not on the O6 we are not going to see them anymore? Or that they die? But I doubt that, I think most everyone remains on the island. But who knows

Maybe it's the same general reason that Christian became a drunk. In hindsight, he knew what the island had to offer, but he could never quite get back to it.
