I remember when there were rumors that a former female player would take Probst's hosting gig, and the names "Tina," "Kathy" and "Morasca" swirled about. Frankly I'd just like an excuse for Eliza to be on every season.

Eliza, Edgic is designed to pick the winner, not endgamers. I've never paid much attention to SPV. As I understood it, the theory was that the winner would have a high incidence of SPV. But I don't think sceptic's tallies support that theory. It looks more like the quantity of a winner's SPV parallels the winner's profile for primary visibility--that is, it's not too much and not too little, but rather tends toward the mean.

I did the S1 ratings (partially as a test case when we moved to the 5 point rating system), I stand by them and KQ blessed them. Unfortunately the S1 thread got eaten during the great Sucks attack of 2005 (?-IIRC), or I would point you to that thread for the rationale for each of the ratings.
