I don't know who this guy is - is it Beckham or that guy who plays tennis?

And I didn't know who Michael Phelps was until I googled him and found out he was the latest swimmer to win a bunch of Olympic gold medals. Nice accomplishment, but hardly ground breaking.

The best dual sport athlete of all time is, of course, Walter Ray Williams.

I want to see a Larry Bird of Golf or a Isiah/Magic rivalry in Golf just something.

So do I. It looked like Phil might be that guy for a while, but then he collapsed on the 18th hole at Winged Foot, and the rest is history.

Federer has Nadal, but Tiger really doesn't have a great rival. There needs to be a young, hungry, up and coming player to challenge Tiger. Maybe we'll see some great young golfers emerge in the next few years.

Tiger is awesome but what is up with no other black golfers dare I say? Surely some kids would have been inspired by now and taken up the game, it's been long enough for a 8 year old to watch Tiger play and become a 16 year amateur and begin the reign of terror. Or a super athlete to go "wow this isn't that hard" before college and go into it and kick ass. It's just weird. Anyone know what's up with that?

So, Tiger's at the Buick Open this week. He's currently in the lead on the field. By 10 strokes. To put it in perspective, that's like a NASCAR driver winning a race by 3 laps or so. Like a MLB home run king besting the rest of the field by 50 home runs. Like a football QB throwing for 6000 yards.

He was won 30-35% of his career starts.

Is there a better athlete in his/her sport currently?

Has there ever been?

I say no. What do you say?
