In fairness, the whole SEASON has been the Russell & Shambo show!

I would be shocked if we didn't see Foa Foa + Shambo at F5. And Russell even said last night that he wants to take Natalie and Shambo to F3. The only thing I see screwing that up is Mick of Jaison (whoever is left) winning immunity at F4.

So who wins out of a Russell/Natalie/Shambo F3? It should be "mom", but I can't see any of the Galu voting for Shambo!

Oh my heck, I don't know. Russell says one thing but does another. He says he's not going to tell anyone about hav ing the hidden immunity idol, then he runs around telling everyone. He says he's not going to provide for the tribe, but then off he goes to fish, collect food, etc.Natalie treats him as her father (he says she asks him to cut this for her, to find that for her). I see Russell as a Reluctant Father. He doesn't want to be the F, but that's the role everyone...

The families they chose last night are:
F - Mick
anti-M/E - Russell
E/M - Shambo
S - Jaison, John
D - Natalie

M - (Laura)
D - Monica
S - Brett, Dave

So whichever way we consider Shambo and Russell, the former FoFo-based family should be pretty stable. I'd expect them, minus a son, to be F5 for sure. Family-tension-wise, they should want to resolve the son situation sooner rather than later, although some game event, like individual...

Mick seriously isn't an F. There is no F. Russell's going back to being E next weak, and then it's just a bunch of sons, two daughters, and Shambo.

I have only just started watching this season (since the merge), but I agree with Lady V about Shambo being a mother. In particular, the Shambo v. Laura plot screamed to me "too many Ms".

My guess for FF6:
F: Mick
M: Shambo
E: Russell
S: One or two of: Jaison, John, Brett
D: One or two of: Natalie, Monica

I'm not sure where I would place Dave. He doesn't strike me as an S because he's too dominant, but he's not an F...

F = Mick the Weak (although he sure has escaped the F being a target on his back)
M = none or Shambo (I hang on, stubbornly!)
E = Russell H and (for most) Shambo
S = John, Jaison, Dave, Brett
D = Natalie, Monica

Way too many sons; maybe one too many eccentrics.

I am beyond tired of all the close-ups of RH's face.

LV, I see the Mother potential for Shambo, but it was missed when she wasn't able to join Foa Foa before the merge. Her role as teacher (the little palm torches) and nurturer (she said some positive praise to each FF member as she met them.) And like I said, "adopt" is a pretty strong family word.

Shambo was stuck on Galu, where she finally settled in as a shunned outcast, who gets along to get along. She has no family role with them. She's disrespected and...

I don't put much weight on Mick's title as "leader". Remember, the twist this season is that each tribe needs to elect a "leader". Remember the challenge where Mick showed up without his necklace (because FF thought it was bad luck) and Probst scolded them and said "as long as Mick is still your leader" or something like that. So I think FF referring to Mick as their "leader" is a title so they don't get in trouble with the producers.

Did y'all see what I saw in the IC last night? Mick whipped right through the grappling hook portion of the challenge (finished first!), and then he and Shambo were going great guns at the puzzle portion. Then all at once both started having difficulties. Shambo was using the wrong puzzle piece, I think, but I swear Mick s-l-o-w-e-d down to allow Laura to win the challenge. I think he doesn't want to be seen as an immunity threat at this stage of the game. Crafty guy! He's not...

Tonight's ep started off with "what Galu didn't know" = Shambo's place with Foa Foa. I believe she voted for Russell tonight, and that must've been planned by Shambo and Russell on the bridge. The Foa Foans really, really need her right now, and they must know that too much affection for her will lead to her immediate boot by the Galuvians.

I agree with the F6 guesses above. Shambo and either Dave or John or Brett will have to switch in order for F6s like...

It'll be interesting to see which E survives the longest, Russell or Shambo.

Russell has the monster stage-hogging edit, but we've had many comments that have Shambo and the other Foa Foans telling us how much they like each other. Both Mick and Jaison said the wanted to adopt her if they could. "Adopt" is a pretty strong word that shows how much she must have filled a family need when she was in Foa Foa's camp.

With two Es, one must make FF6....

We didn't see Shambo imediately fill out the FoFo family as their M, as we had expected. She was almost in her second childhood, with the Galu men leading her around and patting her hand, joking that she might vote for Prost at TC (and forgetting the children's names "Who's Erik"?).

That's true, which is strange, since the edited show hasn't shown his leadership, except in the opening episode and, I think, when he had to choose the people to go to the bocce ball tournament.
