well, casting fans doesn't mean that they have to cast boring people.

From every casting, they have to think about someone who will bring A personality to the group.

I mean look at China, even though most of them are recruited we end up with interesting personalities. I mean i still remember the final 10 people

and who can forget when Chicken scared everyone at TC when he yelled "DAMN!"

One half of the new cast is from california and/or entertainment industry related. That will never change. It sure would be nice to say the other half is from Sucks. Maybe someday.

Personally, I consider myself a superfan but wouldn't think about trying out. With my asthma and desire for food, I wouldn't stand a chance lol.

You're missing the point. People can call themselves superfans all they want. It's the fact that CBS and SEG know who the real superfans are, but pretty much said "pffffffffffffffffft on the real superfans. They're just ordinary people. We'd rather go out and find some random (but telegenic) mactors, and if they tell us they've watched an episode or two...SCORE!!! We can pull another one over the...

Technically we've all gotten invitations...to aply with virtually no chance of making it. The Fans just like the ASS were cast because they fit a certain types SEG was looking for. They want the usual dynamics that make for drama, game play, atheticism, laziness etc., etc. I'm sure part of the Fans critera was they actually did aply (at one point) and have actually watched the show, beyond that how big fans of the show they really are is probably moot.

I don't think anyone has any implied any "right" to be on the show, the issue is more truth in advertising.

I certainly have time to see how well they play. Soon we both certainly will be able to tell if these guys are real SuperFans or recruited Californians who have happened to have watched the show. I most certainly don't give a rats ass about your opinion anyway.

Dude, SEG is selling you a bill of goods calling these dweebs "SuperFans." Watching the show doesn't qualify you as a Superfan in my book. If you think so and want to buy into the hype, that is fine.

Sure, these people may be "Superfans", but for the most part they appear to be just like any other cast...for the most part beautiful and all wanna be Mactors. I know I was excited when I heard "Super Fans" and after seeing them on the CBS website, I am mostly disappointed! I will hold my final judgement until I watch the show, but at first glance, they look more like "We recruited them for another season and didn't use them yet so we will use them not"...
