No argument there.

Even if she didn't get a chance to see the final outcome of the S15 tribal council, Peih-Gee called her out specifically for giving "doe-eyed looks" at tribal council.

And yet she did the exact same thing the second time around. This time Natalie called her out for it.

When two separate groups of people call you out for being superficial, there's probably some truth to it.

Someone posted an interview with Amanda in the Sucks forum, and she basically admits that she answered the jury's questions the same way she would answer questions at a beauty pageant.

She says she didn't realize that the jury is looking for honesty, not for generic responses that may go over well on the pageant circuit but don't work on Survivor.

Amanda's main problem is that her game plan is to be the main accomplice or sidekick to another player who makes the bold moves. For someone to win with that strategy, either that person is up against their main ally who is hated by the jury (Amber/Rob) or that person is up against another player who is viewed as a weak coat tail rider (Ethan/Kim). Amanda losing to the two brattiest and the #1 sluttiest Survivors EVER in the Final TC pretty much sums it up. I think she can talk a great game and can even play a bit of a decent game, but just isn't emotionally mature yet to handle venomous criticism from outgoing personalities in the spotlight. She is young.

Well that, and her abnormally large Oscar Meyer Hot Dog fingers make it hard for her to give good handjobs.

Danni went far in pageants - runner-up Miss USA.
Jenna m has a personality more like Parv, while Amanda's is more like Amber. Jenna can be funny and very genuine.

Danni was a pageant girl?

Jenna and Danni never made it to the end with their original alliance members (both were in a Final 4 with players from the other initial tribe) and only turned on their "most trusted" member at Final 3, though they did that with more aplomb than Manhanda ever could.

I think the key to the mystery is that in both seasons she made it to the end on the back of her alliances - her cliques. She's the archetypal cliquey girl, probably has been at school and all her life.

So, although she has no qualms about strategizing against others to advance the interests of her own clique (in fact, she's quite adept at doing so), she goes to pieces at the end, when the time comes to turn on her own clique/alliance members.

Well, if you combine the descriptions jurors gave her for the last 2 seasons, she walks around like a doe-eyed zombie. Now I'm going to have to re-watch Shaun of the Dead, Dawn of the Dead, Chopping Mall, and Invasion of the Body Snatchers to see if any of the zombies are doe-eyed.

Do you mean as in pretending to be the girl next door (sweet, nice, etc)? Not everyone has the same kind of personality that Parvati does. Not everyone has an out going personality. I think Parvati played a good game though. I was happy with this final 4 compared to others. I certainly thought that they all deserved to be there compared to a lot of other people that made the final 4.

Amanda had some pretty good arguments for deserving to win:
- one of the two strategic leaders of her alliance
- masterminded James's boot which was biggest move of the game and should have earned appreciation from the other tribe
- best challenge performer of the finalists, her F5 and F4 immunity wins prevented first PG and then Denise from making F3 and winning (I have no doubt PG would have won both ICs without Amanda).
- a decent worker around camp, only finialist...
