I found where the Guanyin statue is located for lack of something to do. This is where the so called Huangpu Mountain's Mi Tuo Temple is located, where the Survivors held the Buddhist ceremony, episode 1, then rowed to their camps.

Oh shit I just noticed that there's that torch right behind her, meaning that's probably where the torch walk ends.

It also looks like she's pretty far away from that torch, meaning she isn't right next to the stairs as it looks.

I'm thinking that the statue (or the stairs) do NOT have anything to do with the challenge, it could be that they are just being used as a backdrop.

I'm just guessing tho.

Go up a step...holding it balanced....stand for a while....go up another step...rinse repeat.
Could be a fairly short, but tricky, endurance that way. :)

I just remembered in the first episode, we got to see Courtney holding her hands wrong at the temple, then a confessional about how she was bored (after an hour or so). Did we get that scene because it mirrors this challenge somehow?

AH! It's a waitress's show.
No, at this point Amanda and Todd is just all "talks" about eliminating each other. They know the Jury might just give it to Denise if she ends up in the F3. Courtney said something about keeping all the catty people in the finals last night. I said to myself immediately "She's not including Denise if she could help it!".

This type of balance/endurance is right up Courtney's alley as long as it doesn't require too much strength...which it does not appear.

Courtney's little confessional in that preview foreshadows a Courtney IC victory I think... at this point I'd go with her for this. Maybe Denise tries to strike a deal with her.

I guess we're going to get one of these previews for each person with their little tagline?

For some reason I'm way more interested now in these Buddha statues than I am in these four people. We saw Todd and Amanda make an alliance at the very beginning, usually if people set a plan and execute it all the way to the end, I'd be at least a little impressed, but I just don't much care... Anyways, so...
