The fact that it airs on Friday and was pulled for a couple months tells me it doesn't do well in ratings which is a shame since I genuinely like this show.

X on the old format being much better but I still kind of like this show. It's entertaining.

So glad that slutty blonde lost...I wanted to strangle her through the Tv within 2 seconds of her acting like a moron trying to get the guy to pick her.

One of the new chip girls, Anastacia was a reject from the Pussycat Dolls reality show on the CW btw..
She sounded like a man singing..

thanks all for letting me know about the changes. I LOVED the previous version of the show. I loved how you had to pick from people based on some sterotypical information about them. Then finding out that the janitor really has the highest IQ in the state of Montana and graduated from Harvard top of his class. He's only a janitor cause he won the lottery and wants to work at the school where his kids go. Now the new changes take away all the fun of the first Duel. I won't bother...

now that i've had to time to rethink this, i think the duel folks are geniuseses.

i am so tired of primetime gameshows that move fast, offer incredible prizes and have all of the excitement that goes along with that.

i love the idea of a show that starts at $1000 and then jumps to $2500, then $5000 then (omg!) $10,000.

tonight we saw a woman win $30,000. in one night! $30,000!

Boy, they really screwed up this game. I can see why they did it; they wanted to make more money and be able to produce as many eps as they wanted, but they should have resisted. It's not nearly as fun to watch now.

I loved the whole tournament/jackpot aspect. Now it is just another Millionaire.

As my mom always says, if it ain't broke don't fix it. Last season had an epic feel to it, now it's just lameo.

Mary was a good first winner, but I'm glad this shit is over now <3

I am! I liked this game show the 1st time around and as long as ABC cuts down on the number of commercials, it should be good the 2nd time around as well.

The prize money may be big at the end but since no money is actually awarded til the very end in one big jackpot, it really isn't that expensive for the show since they get many shows where they make and make and make money ad dollars wise and give none away.

I wonder if those that were never...

How do you guys not know the poem for knowing the days of the month? 30 days have September, April, June, and November. All the rest have 31, except for February alone, which has 28 each year, and 29 in each leap year. I learned it in like 2nd grade/

I think the problem with a lot of these people is that they just don't think. My sister immediately said 5, and then gave some retarded reasoning for it. Then when I told her to think about it, she realized she was mistaken. I swear my family has no sense.

I immediately did the knuckle method and shrieked at the contestant for not hitting the stopper switch. Because after all, if I got the answer in 4 seconds, surely he should have! Luckily his opponent got the answer wrong anyway.

I do the knuckle method too only I have to stick to one hand. After I get to the left index knuckle I go back to the left pinky knuckle & continue on. That way it keeps my right hand free to do the counting. I must touch each knuckle & space for it to sink in. How retarded am I?
