I finally watched all four episodes of this in one siting and have to agree that Team Lachey won this deservedly. Patti's team had a great opening performnace in the first episode but just went south from there. The big screechy soloists did not help.

This show is called Clash of the Choirs and not Clash of the Backup Singers and Lachey's choir really did harmonize the best as a group together. They were tight. I greatly enjoyed all of their songs, even the one Lachey sung....

Yes, it was good. I went into it expecting it to be very blah and turn it off after the first 15-20 minutes, but ended up watching it each night.

Any respect I may have had for Patti greatly diminished with her poor loser attitude. However, with that being said, I'll play devil's advocate here about her walking off stage after Team Lachay won. She had been having trouble keeping her clothing (kudos to whoever termed it Pocahontas's' tent) on as it kept slipping...

Michael Bolton and Kelly Rowland, who also led choirs in the competition, told LaBelle her Philadelphia choir should have won, she said. "Michael, he's in here cheering me now."

So she is basing her loss being unjustied because these two hasbeens licked her ass? That is like a fecal freak telling you your cooking is fantastic.

i truly believe team lachey outperformed team labelle every night (i wasnt that impressed with labelle's night 1 performance, and once day 2 hit they were bordering on screaming the whole time), and he clinched the W with a really good live performance on the Wed. show. patti, on the other hand killed her choir on Wed. with her performance in my opinion... i actually enjoyed what the choir was doing in the background, but all she did was completley over shadow that by screeching and...

I missed the meltdown. Too bad. I was enjoying how she kept mentioning how much work all the choirs had done, and that they all deserved respect. I also think she was best at choreography. Nick Lachey really improved so much, though. HATED his country stint, but the rest just kept getting better and better.

On COTC, Patti came across with a fake humbleness that was quite irritating. I also admired her at the beginning, but soon grew tired of her false graciousness.

Patti has become a bigger diva as time as gone on. I didn't see this show, but her attitude doesn't surprise me. It wasn't too long ago that she had a concert and brought some guy on stage and he started flirting with her, something very harmless and she went OFF on him and embarrassed him "how dare you disrespect me!" or some nonsense. I need to find the youtube of that. I still like a few of her 80s songs, but she's an asshole.

OMG I thought you guys were just kidding about her walking out on stage after they announced the winner. I thought, no one is that rude, specially for a spiritual person like Ms Patti. I re-watched the show and I saw her huffing and puffing out of the stage.

i liked patti labelle until about 5 days ago... its amazing how seemingly almost everyone who at least could tolerate her going into clash is now completley flipped - she really came off horribly throughout the 4 days and had an under-performing (and screechy) choir to boot!

He doesn't exactly sing more than one octave..imagine that. His voice is pratically talking, sort of like Barry Manalow.
