Yeah but.....The Liquor Store in Ontario is open on SUNDAYS whereas in Texas it is not.

Not ALL of Canada does The Beer Store thing though. Depends on the Province. In Ontario you can only buy it at the Beer Store, in Quebec and a few others I think you can buy beer at the corner store/grocery store etc.

I remember when the state of Iowa had the corner on the liquor market. You couldn't buy liquor anywhere but at the State Liquor Store. I think it stopped in the early 80's.

The government doesn't own the Beer Store. It is owned equally by three formerly Canadian breweries ... Labatt, Molson and Sleeman's.

This does not explain the Beer store sitchyashun in canookistan. Why? WHY? Why these gubmint sanctioned stores? Who are they protecting you from?

It's a really good backer for a shot of Jose. But not big on Redeyes so I can't imagine that combo. We do carry it in the bar I work at--- I haven't pushed it.

It's the new mix of Budweiser and Clamato (now, what could possibly go wrong?) that's being marketed as an edgy, foreign, beer mixed drink.

I recently tried it on a dare and, all exaggerations aside, it's the worst thing I've ever tasted.

Now, I know that sounds like a bit of a hyperbole but until the Chelada, the worst thing I'd ever had was when I was thirteen and had mistakenly opened a box of moldy Sour Patch Kids in the back of a darkened theater...
