Denise's buff is clearly black.

And by the way, I believe they actually showed the immunity idol at the Zhan Hu camp in episode 3....BEFORE they won the challenge. I'm not quite nerdy enough to screencap the thing, but it was definitely yet another chronological editing timeline mistake-type thing.

I know, with all the footage they have, they still back and forward track with confessionals and scenes. It's obnoxious. Just show everything in order. Whether you like old commentary or not for something. There's got to be enough worthy footage to use and we're missing so much of it.

the buff-o-matic has had a very rough season ...

but so far the black merge buff is the only complaint i have this season, and if that's the only thing that is bad about china, then i'm pretty satisfied

You can see a detailed red design pattern over the primary color -- which is black. If it was a dirty red buff, the nice new thin red background design pattern ( which, on the red and yellow buffs, is actually a black pattern) wouldn't be visible.
