OMG..have you ever broken a leg/ankle/hip??? The fear of slipping and falling in the bathtub is overwhelming. My doctor would rather have me sponge bathe than re-injure my break. I was also anemic and I wasn't...

I broke my ankle a few years ago and I felt like I was in jail or something. You can't even take a shower or a bath for months. It's horrible. I remember when I could finally take a hot shower and walk around the grocery store by myself. it was heaven. I slipped on snowy wet grass and shouldn't have planted my foot to stop the fall. I was also anemic(which I didn't know at the time) and it made my healing take longer. I'm terrified of ice and snow now.
