What even sucks is we have made a huge list of Chinese gross food in Survivor 15+ board.
All they have to do is to read that list and pick something from there.

Why would they even want to read Sucks?

Sounds reasonable, kdo2. So I wonder if that means ZH wins the RC. Whoever they kidnap from FL would likely give the clue to James.

Or on the other hand, if FL wins RC, they kidnap James. He gives the clue to Todd and tells them about the girls throwing the challenge. Todd shares the clue with James so he can find the ZH one, then FL throw the IC to boot Sherea/Frosti.

I also find it funny that they easily decide Sherea should go before Frosti. Wait till they get to know...

James finds the idol and he wants to go to TC, most likely to get rid of one of the girls. But Fei Long loses and Sherea is voted out.

I actually think this is one of the least original gross food eating challenges. They used Balut numerous times on Fear Factor. I believe Fear Factor copied Survivor's original gross food challenges and now Survivor has turned tables and using one of their foods. There are so many 'delicacies' in China that could have been used.

Ah, something that vile now makes an episode 6 Sherea boot possible, in my opinion.

I can see her totally refusing to eat this. I can see her refusing even in a stand-off tie, where she has to battle someone else on the other team. She refuses and her team goes to tribal. Instead of considering a Frost vs. Sherea longevity in later game (I'd boot Frosti first), they flat out punish her for tanking the competition. Explains why she'd go over Frosti.

For embryos, I really hope they don't go for human embryos.

Jeff already said it was balut in that NZ Herald interview (which I didn't even know about until I read it here...thanks birdlady!).

Do they eat human embryos in China? Even if they do (obviously I'm crossing my bits that they don't) do you really think they'd make survivor participants eat them?

"These little embryos they eat off the street" makes me think of "hot enough to fry eggs on the sidewalk".

Is there some uniquely Chinese bathroom experience? I know toilet paper would be nice after being without it for a couple of weeks, but would that be "ultimate"? Hopefully it's more like a spa or something...

Basically, it is balut 2.0, except it is from Chicken, not duck
(It is highly possible, since the producers did use as balut past season example. )...
