Fox is the best network! The Simpsons, Family Guy, AI, 24, House, etc.! I guess people just don't get the fact that reality show winners are chosen by the public and not the network!

I hadn't really thought abt it before but yeah, all top three bands were very religious! If only my Dots had faked an interest in god! lol BTW - I bought the Dots' CD for myself for Christmas and - it really kicks ass. It's got 8 songs on it and they all rock. I'll miss the Dots. But at least I've got their CD.

Yup, Fox is pretty backwards. All three finalist bands also all laid the religious references on pretty thick in their pre-taped segments.

Every Idol winner has been from the south. It's a demographics thing, Fox being the redneck/conservative news network of choice and all. There's a reason they refuse to let gay singers out themselves on the show.

Um, I don't think Heliox meant incest literally. They're talking about the fact that these shows are inbred, in that they reward people they're already connected with. Kinda like how those guys on the first Last Comic Standing were represented by someone producing the show.

I really think the producers of these shows have a band they want to promote, and create a show for them to "win" just to get them publicity they wouldn't already have. Who would care about The Clark Bros without this show?

Yep, and it shows. A lot of the tv audience is wise to their tricks now, especially anything produced by 19. There's still plenty of not so "quick on the draw types" who think it's all real. I like Sixwire, that's who I will...

Oh puleez. I'm sick of hearing about incest. BB had nothing to do with incest & neither did Survivor or this show. It's OK you didn't like Dick but cut the incest crap. It's repetative & sounds ignorant.

Meh, Clark bros winning is no less annoying than Dick winning Big Brother, or Aras winning Survivor. With the incestuous relationships these shows have, it almost seems like we have the rigged quiz shows of the 50's back again.

I absolutely loved seeing the bands come back and perform together. They were all amazing and it was good to see Tres Bien and Dot Dot Dot again especially.

So one of the Clark Brothers performed with Carrie? I wouldn't say it was a fix since they got the most votes and that fact was never advertised. I'm guessing it has to do with them knowing people who could get them in the door for the competition in the first place.

I have not found any threads about this new show. Only information I have found is besides being the new 'IDOL' franchise, is that IAN DICKSON is one of the judges. He was a judge on Australian Idol.
