The 52nd Annual Grammy Awards will take place on January 31, 2010. CBS will broadcast the event, which will take place again at Staples Center in Los Angeles, California. To accommodate an earlier date, the eligibility year for the 52nd Annual GRAMMY Awards will be shortened by one month and will run from Oct. 1, 2008, through Aug. 31, 2009.

The nominations for the Awards will be announced on December 2, 2009.
